I added a thumbnail module to Realvelour today and while I was searching for the plugin I realized that I have “plugin restraint issues”. If left to my own devices, I would install every single WordPress plugin and turn my website into the internet equivalent of MSNBC or CSPAN or one of those news shows with so much crap in the crawl and the airspace and the sidebars that you can’t even really watch the news because your brain is completely freaked out by all the information it’s trying to absorb. Occasionally I lose this battle and install something like the “Hello Dolly” quote plugin for the admin page (which is AWESome and completely necessary).

An image of tubby Howard courtesy of my wife’s wicked photography skillz. Howard!

I recently played a eye-candy explosion of a game called Darksiders that played like a combination of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess and God of War with the difficulty set to “toddler”. Throughout the whole 18 hour affair, the count of combat deaths (not to be confused with “walking off a cliff deaths”) was probably less than 10, which is ridiculous. read more!
