This one took me about two hours to complete despite the fact that it looks pretty simple. The fact that I kept thinking of funny captions in the form of “staple gun + x = y” and giggling didn’t help. For example:

• staple gun + house = home improvement
• staple gun + automobile = jalopy
• staple gun + loose pants = ER visit
• staple gun + barbeque sauce = staple sauce
• staple gun + pillow cases = draperies

In any case, here’s the drawing:

I’m using layer masks to create a “color by numbers” look which I am digging. I think I’ll do more like this. My beloved reciprocating saw is probably coming up soon.

I was amused to see that this staple gun actually has the word “exit” engraved where the staples are ejected (in case you thought it shot staples randomly or somehow from the grip?). Suggestions from today and yesterday were: dead-blow hammer, circular saw, and japanese wood carving knife.
